It is not hard to impress New York Times given you are a socialist or communist and/or hate Trump even if you are a mass murderer.
Recently New York Times published an article praising Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. More interesting are the hundreds of comments from Americans disparaging Trump and supporting North Korean dictator.
Americans are so much used to freedom that they can’t possibly fathom the unbearable life in these oppressive regimes.
But you can’t possibly blame them given manipulative media like Times.
But don’t forget that NYTimes has habit of making heroes out of socialist and communist dictators. When Hitler, the head of The National Socialist German Workers' Party, was delivering anti-semitic speeches all over Germany, Times wrote the following about him in 1922, “But several reliable and well-informed sources confirmed the idea that Hitler’s anti-semitism was not so genuine or violent as it sounded, and that he was merely using anti-Semitic propaganda as a bait to catch masses of followers and keep them aroused, enthusiastic …”
The same kind of reliable and well-informed sources of Times confirmed the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The same sources and reporters have been conveniently ignoring and misrepresenting rampant corruption and starvation socialism caused in countries like India, Venezuela and other.
Times also helped British cover up holocaust caused by British policies in India, where the British made famines killed more than 40 millions people over 150 years. Times did so by not giving any exposure to the book "The Case for India" by Will Durant, American historian and civil rights activist. The book called British rule the greatest crime and the rape of the continent.
After independence Times helped Socialist Nehru, get away with killings hundreds of peaceful protestors demanding state formation on the basis of languages. His daughter, Indira Gandhi and grandson Sanjay Gandhi also got a free pass with destroying Indian democracy by imposing emergency in 1970s because the Indian Supreme Court did not rule in her favor. Times also misguided American public about the recent triple-divorce issue in India, where a Muslim Husband can divorce his wife by saying divorce thrice.
