Government corruption and bribery are rampant right now in India and many developing countries around the world. Citizens and honest officers are put in emotional, financial and physical danger every day by corrupt authorities, who regularly take advantage of men, women and children—particularly those who are poor or uneducated.
With EmpZen, we have created a platform independent of the government dedicated to ending these abuses. Our goal is to provide a place where citizens can work together to praise fair practices and expose unfair ones. Through transparency and collective watchdog efforts, we will hold offending officials and offices accountable for their actions.
To begin, we are launching EmpZen in Nashik, Maharashtra. In coming months, we will launch in Mumbai and Pune. Gradually we will include every city, town and village in India. EmpZen will provide citizens with reliable information about all government offices and employees, including hours of operation, projects underway, reviews/ratings and much more.
And most importantly, the people of India will have a place where they can confidently, anonymously and securely lodge complaints about abuses they experience.
